I’M BIGGER, BADDER, AND BETTER!!!

There has been a lot going on, and I have been so busy I haven’t had time to write. I will try to get you all updated the best I can.
First of all, the main thing that has been keeping me busy is this whole potty training thing. Everybody wants me to go pee pee and poo poo on the big person potty all the time. Sometimes it is all good….I get candy whenever I go on the potty. But, other times…I just don’t want to take the time out to do it. It’s so much easier for me to just go in my pants, even though I still have to take the time out to get changed. I have been doing pretty well overall though, and will tell you when I want to go pee pee…either because I have to, or because I want a piece of candy and want to squeeze out a few drops just to get one. Everybody makes a big deal out of it, which makes me feel good, but sometimes I am just not in the mood. Believe me, I am a moody little guy! I can be squealing with delight one second and throwing a fit over something crazy the next. I like to keep Mommy on her toes…it’s fun! Being predictable is boring if you ask me.
Another thing that has taken up a lot of my time is my new interest in some shows on television. It all started with the movie Cars with Lightening McQueen, Mater, and the gang (if you know me at all, you know this). My next movie was Walle. I took a limited interest in this one, but enough of one to always want to wear my Walle pajamas to bed. Then I started getting in to Bob the Builder. Wow, I got Mommy and Daddy to keep that on the TV most of the day yesterday. They get tired of watching the same five cartoons all the time, but I love it. Also, I like Roary the Racecar. We only have one cartoon of him and it is on my Thomas The Train DVD. Yeah…I don’t get into Thomas as much as Mommy thought I would. Like I said, I like to keep her guessing. There are quite a few other shows I like to watch as well, mostly at Grandma Diane’s and Aunt Hess’s (Chelsea’s) house. They have Direct TV and can put anything on for me at any time. Mommy says it costs too much to get that at home. Maybe you all can talk to her about that.
Halloween is all over now. I had a lot more fun this year than I did last year, because I understood what was going on this time. A week before Halloween, Mommy and I carved our pumpkins. Mommy carved mine first. She kept trying to get me to help her take out all the insides of it, but even though I love to get messy, I wanted to be unpredictable again and not help her out. After she was all done and lit up my pumpkin, I told her to carve hers. Hers was a lot bigger and she looked like she was getting tired this time, so I helped out by taking about 10 handfuls of the insides out for her. This made her really happy, but as soon as she went to get her camera I stopped helping. I didn’t want her having proof that I helped her out. Anyhow, I did let her take pictures of me after we got them all done. See below…
Trick-or-Treating was a lot of fun this year. I really didn’t want to get into my outfit because I just thought it was weird. Why do I want to look like Clifford the Big Red Dog? I mean, that would be like someone dressing up as me. Clfford is Clifford, and I am me…that’s just the way it should be. Once I got it on and saw the reactions of everyone I started to like it though. I do like to make people happy *sometimes*. Then, Aunt Hess and some scary thing came over to our house. I didn’t like this thing at all, and let out a little (not big, I AM a tough guy ya know) cry. Everyone made him take off his face then, and I was afraid…if this thing looked this bad, what is it going to look like if it takes it’s face off?!?! Hey! It’s Trenten! I warmed up to him a little after that, but still kept a good eye on him whenever he got near, and hid behind other people. Thank Goodness, Trenten got hot in the mask and ended up going about half of the beggar’s night wearing it on the top of his head. This made me feel MUCH better. Here are some pictures and a video of us Trick-Or-Treating…
Other than that, I can’t think of much more to talk about…other than the fact that I am talking a lot more. I love to talk on the phone! I will often ask Mommy and Daddy to call someone so I can talk to them. This is a lot of fun and they always seem happy to hear from me, though I don’t think they always understand everything I am saying. Usually I am talking about whatever I see in the room I am in when I talk to them. It’s hard to think of things to talk about sometimes so I just start pointing out all the things in the room.
Well, I better run! I feel a need for candy coming on…time to tell Mommy it’s time to go pee pee.
Love,
Jonathan
